Our Beginnings

Joel and I first became interested in music when we started singing at our church. Our mom sings, plays the guitar and writes songs while our grandmother was also worship leader at our church for a number of years. Both influenced our desire to do the same. But the first time we sang outside of the church walls and in our community, it changed our lives.When Joel was in eighth grade and I was in seventh, one of his favorite teachers, Mr. Robinson, discovered he had a brain tumor. The Lord is Good

The enemy tries to lie to us about God. He tries to use our experiences with man or even our own qualities and misrepresent the Perfect One. I think one characteristic of God that the enemy particularly likes to skew is the goodness of God. Many of us fall into the lie that God doesn’t want to be good to us. Not that He isn’t good, but that His goodness is conditional and given to those who are better, holier, and without sinful pasts. But this isn’t true.
